Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation, ECE, EEE, or related disciplines).
- 1–5 years of experience in Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Vendor Development, or Materials Management.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
- Good commercial acumen and analytical thinking.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
Strategic Sourcing & Procurement
- Source and procure engineering materials, electronic components, instruments, consumables, and project-related items from domestic and international suppliers.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers based on quality, capability, cost competitiveness, and delivery performance.
- Develop alternate sources to reduce supply risks and improve procurement efficiency.
- Conduct market research to identify cost-saving opportunities and emerging suppliers.
Vendor Management & Negotiation
- Obtain quotations, perform techno-commercial evaluations, and negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times, and contractual conditions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure long-term business partnerships.
- Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective actions to improve quality, delivery, and responsiveness.
Inventory & Planning Support
- Collaborate with Sales, Technical, Service, and Finance teams to forecast material requirements and support business operations.
- Monitor inventory levels and support replenishment planning to avoid stock shortages and excess inventory.
- Assist in procurement budgeting and cost control initiatives.
Reporting & Process Improvement
- Maintain supplier databases, procurement records, and purchasing reports.
- Analyze procurement metrics, spending patterns, and supplier performance.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance procurement efficiency and reduce operational costs.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in sourcing of electronic components, industrial products, engineering equipment, or technical materials.
- Understanding of import procurement, logistics coordination, and international sourcing.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications, datasheets, and vendor quotations.
- Knowledge of inventory management and supply chain best practices.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience working with OEMs, distributors, and engineering suppliers is highly preferred.
