- Planning & Engineering:
- Prepare detailed fabrication drawings and shop drawings
Technical & Quality:
- Ensure compliance with welding procedures (WPS/PQR)
- Conduct quality checks as per standards and client requirements
- Coordinate NDT tests (UT, RT, DP, etc.) if required
- Handle inspection documentation and reports
Material & Cost Control:
- Estimate material requirements and reduce wastage
- Coordinate procurement based on BOM/BOQ
- Monitor cost and optimize fabrication efficiency
Coordination:
- Coordinate between design, site, and shop floor teams
- Communicate with clients for technical clarifications
- Support project execution and resolve technical issues
Software & Skills:
- Experience in AutoCAD
- Knowledge of PEB detailing/modelling is an advantage
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel for reports and tracking
- Review and verify design drawings before execution
- Develop fabrication methods and process planning
- Prepare production schedules and timelines
