Job Description:
Responsible for PCB assembly equipment uptime efficiency through proper maintenance/troubleshooting and work for continuous improvement on defect free product from machine side.
MAIN PURPOSE AND ROLE
To ensure the uptime efficiency of machines in the respective cell, control process defects due to machine related issues, train the operators in the line, and conduct preventive maintenance as per schedule.
Revise and update all documentations related to equipment departments.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Basics
-
The Person should have basic knowledge on electrical, electronics and mechanical engineering.

He should be able to trace mechanical, electrical and electronics drawing and schematic diagrams.

He should have good communication and coordination skill.

He should have good analytical skill.

Computer Literacy in MS Office systems
-
He should know the handling of tools and multi-meters.
-
He should be well versant with SMT and THT parts and its package name.

He should know important Metrics of Maintenance engineers like OEE, NEE, MTTR, MTBF, Types of Breakdown.
Machine maintenance:
-
The person will be responsible to maintain all the equipments in his respective cell.

He should train the line operators for machine operations and daily PM.
-
He should carryout preventive maintenance as per schedule released by equipment manager

Any recurring problems need to be identified and corrective and preventive action has to be taken up.

He has to summarize all Corrective Action taken for the defects and report has to be prepares to present before CA meeting
-
Make a Report on faulty feeders and should be informed to maintenance group for repair.

He has to track consumption of spare parts in individual machines and cells.
-
Spare parts requirement should be informed to spare parts management group immediately.

Carry out Critical setup & Adjustments on Equipments.

Coordinate with quality people for line and process audit and clear all NCs immediately.
SMT/THT Technology:
-
He should have working knowledge on surface mount and through hole assembly process.

He will be responsible for all process defects due to improper functioning of machines.

He should attend daily DPU meeting in his shift time and give CA/PA for process defects.

He should be able to generate new product program for machines and release setup table.
-
He has to track ECO changes and same to be updated in program and Setup table.
Engineering Documentation:
-
Knowledge on ISO 9001 and ISO 14000 requirement pertaining to maintenance department.

Maintenance of records as per Quality record master list.

Responsible for release of all controlled documents related to maintenance department.
