Role Overview
The Executive – Coordination is a proactive and detail-oriented Design & Development Coordinator who supports the design and development team in day-to-day operations. The role involves coordinating fabrics and trims, assisting in sampling and production activities, vendor coordination, and supporting designers with operational and creative tasks.
Key Responsibilities
1. Purchase fabrics, fittings, and bag accessories such as zippers, labels, pullers, buckles, tapes, etc. based on required color combinations and product requirements.
2. Maintain a basic understanding of bag materials, fabrics, textures, trims, and color coordination.
3. Assist in digital panel cutting and related sampling/production support activities.
4. Prepare and maintain color charts, material swatches, and sample references.
5. Organize fabrics, fittings, trims, samples, and finished bags systematically.
6. Support the design team with day-to-day coordination and execution tasks.
7. Coordinate with vendors for screen printing, embroidery, branding, and other external job work.
8. Follow up with vendors and workshops to ensure timely completion of sampling and production work.
9. Deliver and collect materials, samples, fittings, and finished products between office, vendors, and workshops.
10. Visit local markets and vendors for sourcing materials and production-related requirements.
11. Assist in maintaining inventory and tracking of materials and accessories.
12. Ensure proper handling and quality checking of sourced materials and finished products.
Qualifications:
1. Diploma / Degree in Fashion Design, Accessories Design, Leather Design, or related field preferred.
2. Freshers with relevant internship or industry exposure may also apply. Skills & Experience
3. Basic knowledge of bag materials, fabrics, fittings, and color combinations.
4. Understanding of bag manufacturing and sampling processes is preferred.
5. Good coordination and communication skills.
6. Ability to manage multiple tasks and timelines efficiently.
7. Comfortable with local travel for sourcing and vendor coordination activities.
8. Organized, responsible, and detail-oriented approach to work.
Pay: ₹450,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
