We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Engineer to drive quality assurance across our products and platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Manual Testing, automation testing (Playwright or Selenium tools are preferred), API Testing, and Performance Testing (Jmeter), along with experience leveraging AI tools such as Claude to enhance testing strategies and improve quality processes.
The candidate should be capable of understanding application workflows, code logic, and system architecture to identify risks and ensure high product quality. This role also comes with a leadership requirement: the ability to mentor and guide junior QA's while actively contributing to testing activities
Qualifications: Must hold a Technical degree/graduation from a recognised university or institution.
- 7–10 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
- Strong expertise in Manual Testing, Automation Testing, API Testing, and Performance Testing.
- Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in both Manual Testing and Automation Testing.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience mentoring both Manual and Automation QA teams of 5–7 members.
- Experience with automation frameworks and testing tools.
- Good understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and software architecture.
- Ability to understand code flow, business logic, and technical requirements.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Confidence to raise risks, challenge assumptions, and drive quality improvements.
- Experience with AI-assisted testing tools is preferred.
- Good to have experience in E-commerce domain/projects.
- Define and implement QA strategies, processes, and best practices.
- Lead, mentor, and support QA team members while remaining hands-on.
- Drive Manual, Automation, API, Regression, Integration, and Performance Testing initiatives.
- Develop and maintain automation frameworks, test plans, and test cases.
- Utilise AI tools such as Claude to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Development, and other stakeholders.
- Identify quality risks, manage defects, and ensure successful product releases.
- Monitor quality metrics and continuously improve testing processes.
