- Routine HPLC Analysis: Perform assays, potency testing, and impurity profiling on raw materials and finished products.
- Method Development: Assist in developing, optimizing, and validating new HPLC methods.
- Sample Preparation: Prepare test solutions, mobile phases, and standard/sample preparations accurately.
- Study Execution: Conduct stability testing, process validation, and cleaning validation using chromatography.
Equipment Management
- Operation & Calibration: Set up, operate, and calibrate HPLC systems and other essential lab instruments (e.g., UV-Vis, balances, pH meters).
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve common HPLC hardware and software issues (e.g., pressure fluctuations, column blockages, baseline noise).
Documentation & Compliance
- Regulatory Adherence: Ensure all testing and lab activities follow cGMP, GLP, and internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Data Integrity: Record, analyze, and review HPLC data accurately. Maintain contemporaneous lab notebooks and digital data systems.
- Reporting Deviations: Document out-of-specification (OOS) results, conduct lab investigations, and report them to Quality Assurance (QA) teams.
Laboratory Operations
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work alongside manufacturing, R&D, and Quality Assurance to resolve quality issues.
- Inventory Management: Ensure standard reagents are standardized and monitor laboratory supply levels.
- Safety Protocols: Handle hazardous chemicals safely and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
