Research Intern

About the Role
Sense International India is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Research Intern to support key research work in the organisation. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in research methodology, evidence synthesis, data management, and report writing in the non-profit sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Literature & Evidence Synthesis: Conduct literature reviews and synthesize research evidence related to mental health and organizational projects.
- Data Management & Analysis: Assist with data entry, data cleaning, and basic quantitative/qualitative data analysis.
- Documentation & Reporting: Support research documentation, report writing, and compilation of findings.
- Academic & Conference Deliverables: Assist in drafting manuscripts, abstracts, and conference papers.
- Project Coordination: Coordinate research-related activities, track timelines, and maintain proper documentation.
- Monitoring & Evaluation: Provide support for monitoring, evaluation, and special research assignments as required.
Qualifications & Key Requirements
- Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a Master’s degree in Psychology, Public Health, Social Work, Statistics, Research Methodology, Special Education or a related field.
- Skills:
- Strong interest in research and evidence-based practice.
- Excellent writing, editing, and documentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of statistical and analytical software (e.g., SPSS, R, Atlasti, Nvivo or equivalent) is an added advantage.
- Attributes: Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adhere to deadlines.
