Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, reconciliations, statutory compliance, and financial controls. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, TDS, GST, and Excel, with the ability to independently manage accounting activities.
Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Financial Operations
- Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.
- Maintain accurate records of accounts payable, accounts receivable, expenses, and general ledger.
- Prepare and review journal entries, invoices, debit/credit notes, and payment records.
- Perform regular bank, vendor, customer, and ledger reconciliations.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and payables and follow up for timely settlements.
- Ensure proper accounting and documentation of all financial transactions.
Financial Reporting
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Assist in preparation of Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheet, and cash-flow reports.
- Prepare MIS reports and provide financial information to management.
- Analyse expenses, revenue, and variances and highlight key observations.
Taxation & Statutory Compliance
- Handle GST-related accounting, reconciliations, and filing support.
- Manage TDS calculations, deductions, payments, and returns.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting and tax regulations.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and other external professionals.
- Maintain proper records and documentation for audits.
Audit & Internal Controls
- Coordinate internal and statutory audits.
- Provide required schedules, supporting documents, and financial data to auditors.
- Identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain appropriate internal controls and ensure adherence to company policies.
Team & Process Management
- Review the work of junior accountants and provide guidance where required.
- Ensure timely completion of monthly closing activities.
- Improve accounting processes and maintain proper documentation.
- Support management in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Good understanding of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in MS Excel including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, and financial formulas.
- Experience with accounting software such as Tally, CRM, or similar ERP systems.
- Strong reconciliation and analytical skills.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CA Inter / CMA / equivalent qualification will be an advantage.
- 3 years of relevant accounting experience.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
