Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Material Planning Engineer for our solar projects division. The candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring the procurement and availability of materials required for project execution, ensuring timely delivery and efficient inventory management.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage material requirement plans for ongoing and upcoming solar projects.
- Coordinate with procurement, stores, logistics, and project execution teams to ensure uninterrupted material availability.
- Monitor inventory levels and maintain optimal stock to avoid project delays.
- Track material consumption and prepare periodic reports.
- Follow up with vendors and suppliers regarding material delivery schedules.
- Verify material specifications and ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Coordinate site-wise material dispatch and receipt activities.
- Maintain accurate records of material movements, shortages, and excess stock.
- Support project teams in forecasting material requirements and project timelines.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and quality standards.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of material planning, inventory management, and supply chain coordination.
- Experience in solar EPC projects or renewable energy sector preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and inventory management tools.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Eligibility Criteria
- Graduate degree (Engineering or related discipline preferred).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in material planning, procurement coordination, or inventory management.
- Experience in solar project execution will be an added advantage.
- Immediate joining preferred.
