Job Description:
Understanding of fabric types, properties, and applications.
Ability to inspect fabrics for defects, color consistency and quality.
Ability to identify colors, shades and textures.
Knowledge of fabric storage, handling and inventory management.
Ability to effectively communicate with suppliers, designers and production teams.
Ability to troubleshoot fabric-related issues and find solutions.
Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time, and meet deadlines.
Printing Technology: Knowledge of various fabric printing technology i.e. Rotary, flat-bed printing etc. and printing properties finishing, texture, colorfastness, sharpness, penetration, and durability.
Vendor Development: Skills to source new suppliers, negotiate competitive pricing, and maintain robust relationships with vendors.
Sampling Management: Strong co-ordination with internal team and merchants to execute buyer specified samples on strict deadline.
