Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and target-driven Furniture Business Development Manager to expand our client base and drive sales growth in the furniture segment. The candidate will be responsible for generating leads, developing relationships with clients, and closing deals for residential, commercial, and institutional furniture projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in furniture sales (office, home, modular, and customized furniture)
- Generate leads through field visits, networking, architects, interior designers, and corporate clients
- Meet clients to understand their requirements and provide suitable furniture solutions
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and presentations
- Negotiate pricing and close sales deals
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and partners
- Coordinate with production and delivery teams to ensure timely execution
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies
- Maintain CRM data, sales pipeline, and reports
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
- 3–8 years of experience in furniture sales, interior sales, or B2B sales
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Knowledge of furniture materials, designs, and manufacturing processes
- Ability to understand client requirements and space utilization
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools
- Self-motivated and target-oriented
Preferred Skills
- Experience in modular furniture, office furniture, or turnkey projects
- Existing network of architects, builders, and corporate clients
- Basic knowledge of design tools (AutoCAD, SketchUp)
- Understanding of BOQ (Bill of Quantity) and costing
