Key Responsibilities:
- Assessing patients and recording their medical history and symptoms.
- Monitoring vital signs and changes in patients' conditions.
- Administering medications, injections, IV fluids, and treatments as prescribed.
- Assisting doctors during examinations, procedures, and surgeries.
- Performing basic nursing procedures such as wound dressing, catheter care, and sample collection.
- Maintaining accurate nursing records and documentation.
- Educating patients and their families about treatment plans, medications, and healthy practices.
- Ensuring infection control, patient safety, and quality standards are followed.
- Operating and maintaining medical equipment.
- Managing nursing supplies and inventory in the assigned ward or unit.
- Participating in shift handovers, emergency response, and continuing nursing education.
Qualifications Required:
- GNM, B.Sc. Nursing, or M.Sc. Nursing.
- Valid nursing registration with the appropriate Nursing Council.
