Job Summary
Palak Enterprises is looking for an experienced and responsible Line Man / Production Line Supervisor to manage and coordinate the production channel of our garment manufacturing unit. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth production flow, maintaining quality standards, coordinating workers, and achieving daily production targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the day-to-day production activities on the garment manufacturing line.
- Coordinate with tailors, operators, helpers and other production staff to ensure smooth workflow.
- Plan and distribute production work according to orders and deadlines.
- Monitor daily production targets and ensure timely completion of orders.
- Ensure proper movement of garments through different stages of production.
- Check the quality of work at each stage and identify production defects or issues.
- Coordinate with the cutting, stitching, finishing and packing departments.
- Ensure efficient utilization of manpower, machines and raw materials.
- Identify production delays and resolve day-to-day operational issues.
- Maintain discipline and proper coordination among production workers.
- Keep track of production quantities and report daily progress to management.
- Ensure that garments are produced according to the required specifications, measurements and quality standards.
- Coordinate with management regarding production requirements, manpower needs and pending orders.
- Ensure proper handling and minimal wastage of fabric and other materials.
- Follow workplace safety and company procedures.
Candidate Requirements
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in garment manufacturing/production, preferably in coats, knitted garments or similar apparel.
- Good knowledge of garment production processes and workflow.
- Ability to manage and coordinate a team of workers.
- Good understanding of stitching, finishing and quality requirements.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under production deadlines.
- Responsible, punctual and disciplined.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
Salary & Benefits
Salary: Around ₹25,000 per month, depending on experience and suitability.
