About the Role
Anand Builders & House of Gu.Ban is seeking an experienced Commercial Kitchen Consultant to collaborate on upcoming luxury hospitality and premium commercial projects.
We are looking for professionals with proven expertise in designing high-performance commercial kitchens that ensure operational efficiency, food safety, workflow optimization, and compliance with international hospitality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare complete commercial kitchen layouts for hotels, restaurants, cafés, banquet facilities, and hospitality projects.
- Design functional kitchen workflows for:
- Main Kitchen
- All-Day Dining
- Specialty Restaurants
- Banquet Kitchen
- Bakery & Pastry
- Garde Manger
- Butchery
- Staff Cafeteria
- Room Service Kitchen
- Dishwashing & Stewarding Areas
- Select and specify commercial kitchen equipment.
- Prepare BOQs, equipment schedules, utility requirements, and technical specifications.
- Coordinate with Architects, Interior Designers, MEP, HVAC, BOH Consultants, and Project Teams.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, ventilation, and hospitality industry standards.
- Participate in design coordination meetings and provide site support during installation and commissioning.
Required Qualifications
- Degree/Diploma in Hotel Management, Commercial Kitchen Design, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 7+ years of consultancy experience in commercial kitchen planning.
- Proven experience in designing kitchens for luxury hotels, resorts, restaurants, banquet facilities, and hospitality projects.
- Strong understanding of commercial kitchen equipment, operational workflows, food production areas, utility coordination, and safety standards.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, MS Office, and commercial kitchen planning software.
Preferred
- Independent Consultants or Consulting Firms are welcome.
- Experience in luxury hospitality and large-scale commercial food service facilities.
- Ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary consultants throughout the project lifecycle.
