As a UX Designer supporting the Amgen Design System, you will contribute to the creation, evolution, and adoption of scalable UI components and patterns across multiple brands. You’ll work within Figma and partner closely with engineering to ensure design intent translates cleanly into implementation. This role blends hands-on design systems work with cross-brand support, ensuring consistency, accessibility, and usability across the ecosystem.
Lead brand onboarding into the Amgen Design System (intake, planning, tracking).
Manage roadmaps, timelines, and migration plans across multiple workstreams.
Establish and maintain tracking systems (e.g., Smartsheet, Jira).
Coordinate across UX, engineering, and AEM teams to ensure aligned delivery.
Drive communication and transparency (status updates, release notes, stakeholder syncs).
Support governance processes (component intake, prioritization, approvals).
Facilitate office hours, training sessions, and documentation rollout.
Identify and resolve process gaps, inefficiencies, and communication breakdowns.
3+ years of experience in web development, content management, or digital product leadership, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
5-9 over all experience with related field .
Proven expertise with Adobe Experience Cloud, including Adobe Assets, Sites, Creative Suite, Content Analytics, and Workfront.
Proficient knowledge of the end-to-end content lifecycle, web content management, content publishing/deployment, and delivery processes.
Knowledge of Cloud-native approaches and platforms including AWS or Azure, or GCP.
Understanding of AEM as Cloud Service.
Strong proficiency in Figma (components, variants, auto layout, tokens).
Understanding of frontend technologies like Bootstrap, ReactJS, Handlebars, Angular, CSS3, and HTML 5.
Experience working on a team of developers.
Strong understanding of digital compliance, web accessibility, and regulated industry standards.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project delivery skills.
