We are looking for a senior industry professional who can help build this business from the ground up.
About the Role
This is a leadership role for someone who understands how geosynthetic products are selected, specified, approved and supplied in major infrastructure projects.
The successful candidate will play a key role in building our technical capability, market strategy, consultant network and customer relationships.
This is not a conventional sales role.
You will help establish the company's technical credibility and create long-term business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Develop the company's Ground Engineering & Geosynthetics business strategy.
Build relationships with consultants, geotechnical engineers, EPC contractors, project owners and government agencies.
Identify opportunities before projects reach the tender stage.
Help specify and approve geosynthetic products in infrastructure projects.
Advise customers on the most suitable engineering solutions based on site conditions.
Review soil reports, drawings, specifications and BOQs to recommend appropriate products.
Lead value-engineering discussions that improve project performance while reducing cost.
Develop technical presentations, application guides and solution packages.
Build a nationwide network of consultants and decision-makers.
Train and mentor the sales team on applications and technical selling.
Create a knowledge database covering products, applications, specifications, case studies and market intelligence.
Support sourcing and evaluation of global manufacturing partners.
Represent the company at technical seminars, exhibitions and industry events.
Ideal Candidate
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering or related field.
12–20 years of experience in geosynthetics, ground engineering or infrastructure projects.
Strong understanding of geotextiles, geogrids, geocells, geomembranes, GCLs, drainage composites, erosion control products, GCCM and related systems.
Experience working with roads, highways, railways, mining, renewable energy, water infrastructure, industrial projects or landfills.
Existing relationships with consultants, EPC contractors and infrastructure developers will be a significant advantage.
Strong technical presentation and communication skills.
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build a business from the ground up.
What Success Looks Like
Within the first 12 months, you will:
Build relationships with key consultants and EPC companies across India.
Develop the company's Ground Engineering Playbook covering applications, specifications and solution strategies.
Establish a preferred supplier network for geosynthetic products.
Create standard technical presentations and solution packages.
Identify and secure opportunities across major infrastructure sectors.
Build the foundation for a scalable technical sales organisation.
