We are looking for a motivated Business Development Executive (BDE) to join our team in Shimla. In this role, you will identify new business opportunities, generate qualified leads, communicate with prospective clients, and help convert inquiries into long-term business relationships. You will work closely with our technical and project teams to understand client requirements and deliver tailored solutions for website development, mobile applications, digital marketing, and other IT services. Freshers with excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and generate new business opportunities through freelance platforms, online portals, email outreach, LinkedIn, and other lead generation channels.
- Understand client requirements and recommend suitable IT solutions, including website development, mobile app development, SEO, digital marketing, and custom software services.
- Prepare professional proposals, quotations, and project estimates tailored to client needs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients through regular follow-ups and effective communication.
- Coordinate with the technical team to gather project requirements, timelines, and cost estimates before sharing them with clients.
- Negotiate project scope, pricing, and timelines to achieve successful project closures while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, proposals, client communications, and sales activities using CRM tools or internal systems.
- Stay updated with industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to identify new business opportunities.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly business development targets while maintaining high-quality client interactions.
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, IT, or any related field.
- Freshers and candidates with up to 3 years of experience in Business Development, IT Sales, or Lead Generation are welcome to apply.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
- Basic understanding of IT services such as website development, mobile applications, eCommerce, SEO, and digital marketing.
- Ability to understand client requirements and communicate them effectively to internal teams.
- Good organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple leads and priorities simultaneously.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and eager to learn new sales techniques.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with Upwork, Freelancer, Guru, LinkedIn, or other lead generation platforms.
- Knowledge of CRM software and sales pipeline management.
- Understanding of proposal writing and client communication.
- Experience in email marketing or LinkedIn outreach.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and online collaboration tools.
- Basic knowledge of digital marketing and web technologies will be an added advantage.
