Job Summary
UVK Link Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced PLC Engineer to work on industrial automation, machine automation, robotic cells, and production line projects. The candidate will be responsible for PLC programming, HMI development, commissioning, troubleshooting, and customer-site support.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and modify PLC programs for machines, automation systems, and production lines.
- Develop HMI/SCADA screens and operator interfaces.
- Integrate PLCs with sensors, drives, motors, robots, and other automation equipment.
- Perform PLC-HMI communication, I/O testing, and machine troubleshooting.
- Support installation, commissioning, and production trials at customer sites.
- Troubleshoot electrical and automation-related issues.
- Prepare PLC logic, I/O lists, control documentation, and backup programs.
- Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, software, and project teams.
- Understand customer requirements and implement suitable automation solutions.
- Provide technical support during machine commissioning and production ramp-up.
Required Technical Skills
- Hands-on experience with PLC programming.
- Knowledge of PLC platforms such as Siemens / Allen-Bradley / Mitsubishi / Delta.
- Knowledge of HMI and SCADA.
- Basic knowledge of VFD, Servo, Sensors, Pneumatics, and Industrial Networking.
- Understanding of electrical control panels and wiring diagrams.
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, Profinet, Ethernet/IP.
- Ability to read electrical drawings and troubleshoot control systems.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Robotic Cells and Industrial Automation.
- Knowledge of machine safety and safety PLCs.
- Exposure to IIoT and Industry 4.0 solutions.
- Experience in automotive, manufacturing, or industrial automation projects.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites for installation and commissioning.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in PLC/industrial automation.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently at customer sites.
- Willingness to learn new automation technologies.
