Vaidyaratnam Oushadhasala Pvt Ltd is looking for a Botanist for our manufacturing unit based in Chuvannamannu, Thrissur
- Qualification : MSc/BSc Botany
- Experience : 3-5 years
1. Identify and confirm raw materials against purchase requirements and if needed collect random samples for lab test
2. Prepare lab test report in ERP and submit for review and release
3. Escalate quality related matters pertaining to concessional approval requests to Head QC for final decision.
4. Preserve control samples for a period of six months and refresh samples as required
5. Responsible for maintaining Pharmacognosy section as per requirements
6. Responsible for updating and maintaining herbarium
7. Label checking
8. Standardization work of raw materials
9. Initiate corrective actions for raw materials rejections / repeated concessions
10. Receive samples from central Raw materials stores for testing and issue certificate of analysis
11. Conduct lab trials and extend required support and coordination as required to QA & VARI teams
12. Responsible for maintaining herbal garden
13. Responsible for maintaining all records as required
14. Preparation and standardization of reagents when ever required.
