Job Summary
The Testing Laboratory Technician is responsible for conducting laboratory tests on HDPE shade net, monofilament yarn, and related technical textile products to ensure compliance with internal specifications and international testing standards. The role includes mechanical testing, polymer property analysis, UV weathering evaluation, and flammability testing, as well as preparing comparative test reports for quality validation and product development.
Key Responsibilities
1. Mechanical Testing of Shade Net Conduct bursting strength testing of HDPE shade net fabric using standard testing equipment. Perform tensile strength and elongation testing of net fabric, tapes, or monofilament yarn. Record and analyze results to ensure compliance with product specifications and customer requirements.
2. Polymer Quality Testing Conduct Melt Flow Index (MFI) testing for HDPE raw materials and finished product samples to verify polymer flow characteristics. Perform Ash Content testing to determine inorganic residue in polymer materials. Maintain proper calibration and operating procedures for polymer testing equipment.
3. UV Performance Testing Operate UV weathering test equipment to evaluate durability and degradation resistance of shade net products. Monitor exposure cycles and compare pre- and post-UV mechanical
4. Laboratory Management Maintain proper sample identification and traceability. Ensure calibration, cleanliness, and preventive maintenance of testing instruments. Follow ISO / ASTM / internal laboratory procedures for testing methods
