JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to maintain and repair the hotel’s plumbing systems, ensuring uninterrupted water supply, drainage, and sanitation services throughout the property. The successful candidate will be responsible for preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to support guest comfort and operational efficiency.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Install, maintain, and repair water supply lines, drainage systems, and plumbing fixtures
- Inspect plumbing systems regularly to identify leaks, blockages, and potential issues
- Repair and replace faucets, valves, pipes, fittings, toilets, wash basins, showers, and other plumbing equipment
- Respond promptly to guest room and public area plumbing complaints
- Ensure proper functioning of hot and cold water systems throughout the hotel
- Perform preventive maintenance on pumps, water tanks, pipelines, and sewage systems
- Clear clogged drains, sinks, toilets, and sewer lines
- Monitor water pressure and identify areas of water wastage
- Coordinate with the Engineering team during renovation and maintenance projects
- Maintain plumbing tools and equipment in good working condition
- Keep records of maintenance work completed and materials used
- Follow safety procedures and hotel maintenance standards at all times
- Assist with other engineering and maintenance tasks as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Essential:
- 2+ years of experience as a Plumber, preferably in the hospitality industry
- Knowledge of plumbing systems, drainage systems, pumps, and water supply networks
- Ability to diagnose and repair plumbing issues efficiently
- Familiarity with plumbing tools, equipment, and safety practices
- Physical ability to lift up to 25 kg and work in confined spaces when required
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
Preferred:
- Experience working in hotels, resorts, or commercial properties
- Knowledge of water treatment systems and pump maintenance
- ITI Certification or equivalent qualification in Plumbing
