Key Responsibilities
1. Warehouse Operations
- Manage complete day-to-day warehouse operations.
- Ensure smooth Inbound, GRN, Putaway, Storage, Picking, Packing, Outbound and Returns activities.
- Ensure orders are processed and dispatched within defined TAT.
- Monitor daily operational activities and resolve operational issues.
- Ensure proper material handling and storage practices.
- Maintain warehouse discipline and 5S standards.
2. Inventory Management
- Ensure inventory accuracy and proper stock control.
- Monitor cycle counts and periodic stock audits.
- Investigate stock discrepancies and initiate corrective actions.
- Ensure proper location management and FIFO/FEFO wherever applicable.
- Monitor inventory ageing and slow-moving stock.
3. Team Management
- Manage and supervise warehouse staff, including supervisors, associates and contract manpower.
- Plan manpower according to daily operational requirements.
- Allocate work and monitor individual/team productivity.
- Conduct daily team meetings and communicate operational targets.
- Handle employee performance, discipline and attendance issues.
- Develop and motivate the team to achieve operational targets.
4. KPI & Performance Management
- Monitor daily and monthly warehouse KPIs.
- Ensure achievement of productivity, quality and service-level targets.
- Track OTIF, inventory accuracy, order processing, picking accuracy, dispatch TAT, productivity and manpower utilization.
- Prepare MIS and daily/weekly/monthly operational reports.
- Identify performance gaps and implement corrective actions.
5. Quality & Process Improvement
- Ensure compliance with SOPs and customer requirements.
- Identify process gaps and implement improvement initiatives.
- Drive Kaizen / continuous improvement activities.
- Conduct root-cause analysis for operational errors and customer complaints.
- Reduce operational errors, damages and short shipments.
6. Customer & Stakeholder Management
- Coordinate with clients/customers for daily operational requirements.
- Handle customer escalations and ensure timely resolution.
- Coordinate with transport, commercial, inventory and other internal teams.
- Maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders.
7. Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with warehouse safety procedures.
- Conduct regular safety checks and toolbox talks.
- Ensure PPE compliance and safe material handling.
- Report and investigate safety incidents and near misses.
- Ensure warehouse operations comply with company policies and statutory requirements.

Software / Systems
Candidate should have working knowledge of:
- WMS
- SAP / ERP
- MS Excel
- Inventory management systems
- MIS and operational reporting tools
Qualification
- Graduate / Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Warehouse Management or related field.
- MBA / PG qualification in Supply Chain or Operations will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 8–12 years of relevant experience in warehouse / logistics / retail operations.
- Minimum 3–5 years of managerial/team-handling experience preferred.
- Experience managing large warehouse operations and manpower will be an advantage.
Location & Working Conditions
Location: Mankoli, Bhiwandi, Maharashtra
The candidate should be comfortable working at the Mankoli, Bhiwandi warehouse location and managing daily warehouse operations, manpower and business requirements.
Preferred Candidate Profile
We are looking for a hands-on Warehouse Manager who can independently manage retail warehouse operations, lead a large team, achieve operational KPIs, handle customer requirements and drive continuous improvement.
Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹900,000.00 per year
