We are looking for a Cybersecurity Specialist to assess risks, develop security policies, and implement robust security solutions. You will conduct IT audits, perform vulnerability assessments, manage security projects, and ensure compliance. Protect critical business data, infrastructure, and systems while driving security best practices and awareness programs.
- Understand customer business needs, gather user requirements, and perform ethical IT audits to protect critical business data, systems, and network infrastructure.
- Develop policies, procedures, guidelines, and tools aligned with customer needs, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct risk assessments on new/existing systems and third-party systems, identify potential risks, and recommend mitigation plans.
- Present risk assessment findings in both written and verbal formats to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.
- Design, develop, and execute security strategies/solutions for servers, switches, routers, firewalls, data diodes, VPNs, proxies, and more.
- Prepare documentation such as design specifications, requirement traceability matrices, functional/user acceptance test plans.
- Perform vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, source code reviews, and security configurations following industry best practices.
- Deploy security features like IDS, IPS, EPS/EDR, PAM, SIEM, DDoS protection, and more.
- Oversee security project implementation, including installation, testing, and project handover to operations and maintenance teams.
- Perform system maintenance, upgrades, patches, hotfixes, security configurations, and periodic disaster recovery exercises.
- Conduct periodic security control assessments to detect, analyze, and address security gaps, threats, faults, and incidents.
- Deliver cybersecurity training and awareness programs.
- Diploma or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or IT.
- Preferred industry-recognized certifications (e.g., CCNA, CISSP).
- Experience in networking, network devices, and operating systems (Windows, Linux) including security hardening.
- Hands-on experience with cybersecurity technologies such as firewalls, switches, routers, VPNs, proxies, IPS, IDS, EPS/EDR, SIEM, PAM, and DDoS protection.
- 3 to 5 years of information security experience, including penetration testing (PT) and vulnerability assessments (VA).
- Experience in developing PT steps, methods, procedures, and deploying relevant tools.
- Strong understanding of attack techniques, methods, and vulnerabilities across various OS and application platforms.
- Familiarity with common security vulnerabilities and threats in network and application systems.
- Competence in identifying and evaluating security vulnerabilities and threats using appropriate tools.
- Strong team player—self-motivated, creative, versatile, and independent.
- Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills.
