We are seeking an experienced, skilled, and responsible Senior Car Technician to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will specialize in engine carbon cleaning and engine flushing services for both petrol and diesel vehicles, using advanced diagnostic and cleaning equipment.
This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, leadership qualities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service while ensuring safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform engine carbon cleaning and flushing services on petrol and diesel vehicles using advanced equipment and approved procedures
- Diagnose engine performance issues related to carbon buildup and recommend appropriate cleaning solutions
- Operate and maintain specialized carbon cleaning and engine flushing machines safely and efficiently
- Ensure all services are performed according to company standards, manufacturer guidelines, and safety protocols
- Inspect engines before and after service to verify effectiveness and performance improvements
- Maintain accurate service records, job cards, and customer reports
- Guide and mentor junior technicians, ensuring correct procedures and best practices are followed
- Communicate clearly with service advisors and customers regarding service processes, benefits, and outcomes
- Identify additional maintenance requirements and inform the service team when necessary
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the workshop and workstations
- Follow all health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 2 to3 years of experience as an automotive technician (petrol & diesel engines)
- Strong hands-on experience with engine carbon cleaning, engine flushing, or similar advanced engine services
- Good knowledge of engine systems, fuel systems, combustion processes, and emission control systems
- Ability to operate modern automotive diagnostic tools and cleaning equipment
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently as well as lead a team
- Good communication and customer-handling skills
