Job Summary
Syrus Hospital is looking for an experienced and responsible Pharmacy Manager to manage the overall pharmacy operations, ensure smooth workflow, maintain stock accuracy, and deliver excellent service to patients and hospital departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day pharmacy operations and pharmacy staff.
- Ensure proper dispensing of medicines as per prescriptions and hospital protocols.
- Monitor pharmacy stock, purchase requirements, expiry medicines, and inventory levels.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of medicines.
- Maintain accurate pharmacy records and documentation.
- Monitor billing, sales, stock movement, and daily pharmacy transactions.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, purchase, accounts, and hospital management.
- Ensure compliance with applicable pharmacy and hospital regulations.
- Supervise and guide pharmacy staff and prepare duty schedules.
- Handle patient queries and ensure good patient service.
- Monitor near-expiry and expired medicines and ensure timely action.
- Identify operational issues and implement improvements to increase efficiency.
- Prepare regular reports related to pharmacy operations, stock, and performance.
- Ensure cleanliness, discipline, and proper functioning of the pharmacy.
Candidate Requirements
- B.Pharm / D.Pharm / M.Pharm with valid registration.
- Minimum 5+years of experience in hospital/retail pharmacy operations.
- Previous experience in a Pharmacy Manager / Senior Pharmacist / Pharmacy In-charge role will be preferred.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations, inventory management, and medicine handling.
- Good leadership, communication, and team-management skills.
- Ability to handle responsibilities independently and coordinate with multiple departments.
- Computer knowledge and experience with pharmacy/hospital software will be an advantage.
- Malayalee candidates will be preferred.
- Candidates who can join immediately or within a short notice period will be preferred.What We Offer
