Job Overview
We are looking for a proactive and people-focused HR Executive to join our team in Amritsar, Punjab.
The HR Executive will be responsible for supporting recruitment, employee onboarding, HR operations, attendance, employee records, engagement, and day-to-day people management. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, good organizational abilities, and a genuine interest in working in the hospitality industry.
Key ResponsibilitiesRecruitment & Hiring
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for café and hospitality positions.
- Create and publish job postings on relevant hiring platforms.
- Source candidates through job portals, social media, referrals, and local hiring channels.
- Screen resumes and conduct initial candidate interviews.
- Coordinate interviews with department heads and management.
- Maintain an active candidate pipeline for current and upcoming vacancies.
- Coordinate offer discussions and joining formalities.
- Support recruitment for positions such as Stewards, Captains, Chefs, Baristas, Managers, and other café staff.
Employee Onboarding & Documentation
- Manage employee joining and onboarding processes.
- Collect and maintain employee documents and records.
- Ensure new employees understand company policies, workplace standards, and expectations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee databases.
HR Operations
- Maintain attendance, leave, and employee records.
- Coordinate with management regarding payroll-related information.
- Monitor employee punctuality, attendance, and workplace discipline.
- Assist with staff scheduling and HR-related operational requirements.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee information.
- Ensure HR processes and documentation are properly maintained.
Employee Engagement & Relations
- Build positive relationships with employees and management.
- Address employee queries and concerns professionally.
- Support employee engagement and team-building activities.
- Help create a positive and respectful workplace culture.
- Assist management in resolving employee-related issues.
Performance & Development
- Support employee performance tracking and feedback processes.
- Identify training and development requirements.
- Coordinate employee training and orientation programs.
- Help managers maintain consistent workplace and service standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in HR, recruitment, or HR operations.
- Experience in hospitality, restaurants, cafés, hotels, or retail is an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good knowledge of recruitment and candidate sourcing.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to handle multiple hiring and HR tasks simultaneously.
- Professional, approachable, and people-oriented personality.
- Good knowledge of MS Office / Google Workspace.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information.
- Comfortable working in an on-site hospitality environment.
