Role Overview
The Assistant General Manager – CRT will play a strategic and operational leadership role in strengthening corporate engagement, driving placement outcomes, and enhancing recruiter relationships for IMT Ghaziabad’s PGDM and allied programs. The role requires deep understanding of management education placements, strong industry networks, and the ability to manage end-to-end campus recruitment processes with data-driven rigor and stakeholder sensitivity.
Key Responsibilities

Corporate Engagement & Relationship Management
-
Build, nurture, and expand long-term relationships with recruiters across Consulting, BFSI, FMCG, Technology, Product, General Management, and emerging sectors.

Drive new recruiter acquisition aligned with institute positioning and student capability.

Act as a senior interface between corporates and institute leadership.
-
Curate leadership connects, corporate conclaves, and engagement initiatives to deepen partnerships.

Placement Strategy & Execution
-
Lead end-to-end execution of summer internships and final placements for PGDM and specialized programs.

Develop sector-wise placement strategy, compensation benchmarking, and recruiter mapping.

Ensure achievement of placement KPIs including:

Recruiter diversity

Compensation growth
-
Role quality
-
PPO/PPI conversions

Manage complex placement negotiations and offer closures.

Student Readiness & Talent Positioning

Work closely with academic teams, student committees, and external trainers to enhance employability, grooming, and role readiness.

Provide strategic inputs on CV validation, competency mapping, and interview preparation frameworks.

Mentor student placement committees and ensure governance, discipline, and transparency in processes.

Data, Governance & Reporting

Oversee placement MIS, analytics dashboards, and reporting accuracy for internal leadership and accreditation requirements.

Ensure compliance with institute policies, audit requirements, and ethical placement standards.

Generate periodic insights on hiring trends, sector outlook, and competitive benchmarking across top B-schools.

Team Leadership & Process Excellence

Lead and mentor CRT team members for high performance and stakeholder responsiveness.

Drive process standardization, automation, and continuous improvement in placement operations.

Collaborate with marketing, alumni, and international relations teams for integrated outreach.
Candidate Profile
Education
-
Postgraduate degree in Management / HR / Marketing / Operations or related discipline.

Candidates from premier institutions preferred.
Experience
-
10+ years of relevant experience in:

B-school placements / corporate relations
-
Talent acquisition leadership in corporates

Executive search / HR consulting with campus hiring exposure

Proven track record of managing end-to-end campus recruitment at scale.
