Key Responsibilities:
- Manage, monitor, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure, including virtual machines, storage, and networking components.
- Deploy and configure Azure services such as Virtual Networks, Load Balancers, App Services, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, ARM templates, or Azure DevOps pipelines.
- Perform regular maintenance, patch management, and security hardening of cloud resources.
- Monitor system health using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
- Respond to incidents during the night shift, troubleshoot production issues, and ensure SLAs are met.
- Manage identity and access through Azure AD, ensuring compliance with MFA and
RBAC policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for automation, performance optimization, and cost efficiency.
- Document system configurations, procedures, and operational runbooks.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure IaaS and PaaS services.
- Hands-on experience with Azure CLI, PowerShell scripting, and Terraform.
- Working knowledge of Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and container technologies (AKS/Docker).
- Proficiency in monitoring, alerting, and cost optimization within Azure environments.
- Familiarity with security controls, backup & disaster recovery configurations.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Essential for 24/7 operations, customer service, or managing different time zones.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) or Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305).
- Experience supporting global operations or enterprise cloud environments.
- Exposure to multi-cloud tools or hybrid cloud integration is a plus.
