About the Role
OnaMart India Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced R&D Chemist to join our product development team. The candidate will be responsible for research, formulation development, testing, quality improvement, and documentation of new and existing products.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and improve chemical formulations and products as per business requirements.
- Conduct laboratory experiments, trials, and product testing.
- Research new raw materials, chemicals, formulations, and technologies.
- Optimize existing formulations for quality, cost-effectiveness, stability, and performance.
- Conduct physical and chemical testing of raw materials and finished products.
- Maintain proper laboratory records, test reports, formulation sheets, and R&D documentation.
- Identify and troubleshoot formulation and product-quality issues.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality Control, Procurement, and other departments for product development.
- Conduct stability and performance studies wherever required.
- Ensure laboratory activities comply with safety procedures and applicable standards.
- Support scale-up and transfer of successful laboratory formulations to production.
- Stay updated with new developments, technologies, and trends in the chemical industry.
Requirements
- B.Sc./M.Sc. in Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of relevant R&D/formulation experience in the chemical/manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures, chemical testing, and formulation development.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Ability to independently conduct experiments and analyze results.
- Knowledge of laboratory safety and chemical handling procedures.
- Good communication and coordination skills.

Compensation
₹3.0 LPA – ₹5.4 LPA, depending on experience, skills, and interview performance.
Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹540,000.00 per year
