We are seeking applications for the position of Structural Engineer in various cities across India.
Missions/Main Duties:

Lead and undertake structural design and review of all civil and marine structures associated with the Urban Water Metro Project.

Prepare, review, and approve structural designs for ferry terminals, passenger stations, jetties, floating pontoons, gangways, retaining walls, foundations, utility structures, and associated facilities.

Carry out structural analysis considering operational, environmental, hydraulic, tidal, wind, seismic, berthing, and impact loads.

Review geotechnical investigations and recommend suitable foundation systems for waterfront and marine structures.

Ensure compliance with applicable national and international design standards, codes, and safety requirements.

Coordinate with marine, civil, architectural, geotechnical, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical experts during project development.

Review construction drawings, technical specifications, design calculations, and shop drawings submitted by contractors.

Provide technical guidance during construction, installation, testing, and commissioning of structural components.

Conduct structural inspections, condition assessments, and quality audits during project implementation.

Support value engineering initiatives to optimize project cost, constructability, durability, and safety.

Assist in resolving site-related structural issues and design modifications as required.

Contribute to preparation of feasibility reports, Detailed Project Reports (DPRs), bid documents, and technical reports.
Profile/Skills:
-
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
Master's Degree in Structural Engineering.
Minimum 15 years of overall professional experience in structural design, analysis, and construction supervision of infrastructure projects.
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in the design and/or construction of Water Metro, Inland Water Transport (IWT), Ferry Terminals, Jetties, Port & Harbor Structures, Marine Infrastructure, Bridges, Waterfront Developments, or related transportation infrastructure projects.
