- Design electrical systems, circuits, and control panels.
- Prepare electrical drawings, single-line diagrams (SLD), wiring diagrams, and layouts.
- Perform load calculations, cable sizing, and protection coordination.
- Select electrical components such as breakers, transformers, relays, VFDs, and motors.
- Develop BOMs (Bill of Materials) and technical documentation.
- Ensure compliance with IEC, IEEE, NEC, IS, or other applicable standards.
- Coordinate with mechanical, civil, and instrumentation teams.
- Support installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities.
- Review vendor drawings and technical specifications.
- Optimize designs for safety, reliability, and cost efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in electrical design engineering.
- Experience in industrial plants, EPC projects, manufacturing, MEP, or automation is preferred.
- Familiarity with international and Indian electrical standards.
