Role Description The Faculty AI and Digital Marketing role at IIHM Siliguri & Kolkata is a full-time, on-site academic position focused on teaching and curriculum development in the areas of artificial intelligence applications and digital marketing within hospitality and related sectors. The faculty member will design and deliver lectures, practical sessions, and projects that integrate AI tools, data-driven marketing strategies, and contemporary digital platforms. Daily responsibilities include preparing course materials, guiding student research and industry-oriented assignments, mentoring learners on career and skill development, and evaluating performance through assessments and feedback. The role also involves collaborating with colleagues to update syllabi, participate in academic committees, support industry partnerships, and contribute to workshops, seminars, and conferences that enhance the institute’s academic profile.
Qualifications
- In-depth knowledge on AI and Digital Marketing
- Candidates should possess skills in Market Research and Research, with the ability to apply data-driven insights to hospitality and digital marketing contexts.
- Candidates should possess skills in Consumer Behavior and Marketing, with a strong grasp of digital channels, branding, and AI-enabled marketing strategies.
- Candidates should possess skills in Marketing Management, including planning, executing, and evaluating integrated marketing campaigns and initiatives.
- Relevant master’s degree (e.g., Marketing, Hospitality Management, Business Analytics, Digital Marketing, or related field); doctoral qualification or ongoing PhD is an advantage.
- Practical experience in digital marketing, AI tools (such as analytics platforms, marketing automation, or machine learning-based solutions), and industry projects is highly beneficial.
- Strong teaching, presentation, and curriculum design skills, with the ability to engage diverse learners using modern pedagogical and technology-enhanced methods.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, professional integrity, and the ability to collaborate in a multicultural, academic environment.
- Prior experience in hospitality education or in the hospitality and tourism industry is an added advantage.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
