Job Summary
A leading Ferro Alloys manufacturer is hiring an experienced STP/ETP Operator for its integrated Ferro Alloys Plant located at Byrnihat, Meghalaya.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate STP/ETP equipment including pumps, blowers, mixers, filters, valves, and dosing systems.
- Monitor plant parameters such as pH, flow, dissolved oxygen (DO), MLSS, sludge level, and chemical dosing.
- Collect water samples and assist in laboratory testing.
- Carry out routine preventive maintenance and report equipment faults.
- Maintain housekeeping and cleanliness of the treatment plant.
- Maintain records of chemical consumption, maintenance activities, and plant performance.
- Must have knowledge of wastewater treatment processes.
- Familiarity with pumps, motors, blowers, pipelines, and electrical panels.
Requirements:
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.
- STP/ETP operator certification is preferred.
- 5–10 years of experience, preferably in Ferro Silicon / Ferro Alloys.
