We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Site Engineer / Site Manager to assist in the execution and supervision of construction sites. The candidate will be responsible for monitoring day-to-day site activities, ensuring work is carried out according to architect instructions, approved drawings and specifications, maintaining quality standards, and coordinating with office assistant, contractors, vendors, consultants and project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily construction and interior activities and ensure work progresses as per the project schedule.
- Monitor site execution in accordance with architect instructions and approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with office assistant, contractors, subcontractors, consultants, architects, and vendors.
- Verify measurements and maintain records of work executed at the site.
- Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain safe working conditions.
- Identify and report construction issues, delays, and quality concerns to senior management.
- Check the quality of materials received at the site and ensure proper usage.
- Attend site meetings and record minutes of meetings when required.
- Assist in quantity estimation, material reconciliation, and billing verification.
- Ensure statutory approvals and site documentation are maintained.
- Coordinate inspections with consultants and government authorities whenever required.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
- 2–4 years of experience in building construction, redevelopment, or residential/commercial projects.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of RCC, finishing works, and construction methodologies.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of quantity estimation and measurement.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Willingness to travel and work across project sites.
- Familiar with Marathi language.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in residential redevelopment projects.
- Knowledge of local construction regulations and approvals.
- Exposure to quality control and site safety practices.
