Job Overview
We are looking for a hands-on Azure Cloud & Database Administrator with 1–5 years of experience in Azure administration, cloud infrastructure, databases, networking, and security.
US Healthcare experience is mandatory. The candidate must have experience working in a US Healthcare IT environment and should have a good understanding of HIPAA, PHI, healthcare data security, and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and administer Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure.
- Configure and manage Microsoft Entra ID, MFA, IAM, and RBAC.
- Deploy and manage Azure VMs, Containers, Serverless services, and Azure App Services.
- Set up and manage Azure Arc environments.
- Work with Azure Data Factory and Azure Data Lake Storage.
- Manage Azure Blob Storage and optimize cloud/on-premise storage.
- Configure and troubleshoot Azure Networking, Firewalls, and Load Balancers.
- Manage scheduled tasks, automation, and Cron Jobs.
- Install, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot databases.
- Work with SQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Azure Blob Storage.
- Support and troubleshoot Windows and Linux environments.
- Handle cloud deployments, monitoring, backups, security, and performance optimization.
- Ensure Azure infrastructure follows US Healthcare security and compliance requirements.
Mandatory Requirements
- 1–5 years of relevant IT experience
- Strong hands-on Azure experience
- US Healthcare IT experience is mandatory
- Knowledge of HIPAA and PHI
- Experience with cloud infrastructure and database administration
- Experience with Windows and/or Linux environments
- Experience with VM and/or SaaS deployments
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work night shifts aligned with US business hours
Healthcare Experience
Candidates must have prior experience working with US Healthcare organizations, applications, systems, or infrastructure.
Experience with any of the following will be highly preferred:
- Epic
- Cerner
- Availity
- Waystar
- NexGen
Knowledge of HIPAA, PHI, access control, data protection, and secure healthcare infrastructure is required.
Preferred Certifications
Certifications are not mandatory, but knowledge of the concepts covered in the following certifications is preferred:
- AZ-104 – Azure Administrator
- AZ-305 – Azure Solutions Architect
- AZ-500 – Azure Security Engineer (Preferred)
Candidate Screening Priorities
1. Azure Experience – Highest Priority
Strong practical experience with Azure administration and cloud infrastructure.
2. Database Experience
Experience setting up and managing SQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Blob Storage.
3. Operating System Experience
Strong experience with Windows or Linux, preferably in production environments.
4. Deployment Experience
Hands-on experience with VM-based or SaaS/cloud deployments.
5. US Healthcare & Compliance
Practical experience with US Healthcare, HIPAA, PHI, and healthcare data security.
Important
US Healthcare experience is mandatory for this position. Candidates without US Healthcare experience will not be considered.
Candidates should have hands-on technical experience, not just certification or theoretical knowledge.
