About the Role
We are looking for a highly creative and experienced Head of Product Design to lead the design and development of innovative physical products. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in taking products from concept development to prototyping, production, and mass manufacturing.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in physical product design, creativity, materials, and product development.
Key Responsibilities
- Conceptualize and design innovative physical products based on market and customer requirements.
- Develop products from initial concept through prototyping, testing, development, and final manufacturing.
- Work hands-on with materials such as plastic, MDF, acrylic, metal, glass, wood, resin, and similar materials.
- Create product concepts, sketches, 3D designs, prototypes, and design specifications.
- Collaborate with manufacturers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure successful product development.
- Evaluate prototypes and make design improvements based on functionality, aesthetics, cost, and manufacturability.
- Ensure designs are suitable for mass production while maintaining quality and visual appeal.
- Research trends, materials, finishes, and innovative product concepts.
- Lead the product design process and contribute creative ideas for new product lines.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of relevant experience in physical product design and development.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating successfully developed and manufactured physical products.
- Excellent understanding of materials, finishes, manufacturing processes, and prototyping.
- Strong creative and conceptual thinking.
- Experience working with manufacturers and vendors.
- Ability to convert ideas into commercially viable, mass-manufactured products.
- Strong attention to detail and aesthetics.
Important Note
This is NOT a UI/UX or Graphic Design role.
We are specifically looking for candidates with a physical product design background. Candidates whose experience is primarily in UI/UX, graphic design, or engineering/mechanical design will not be considered.
Pay: ₹65,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
