Purpose of the Role
Execute preventive and breakdown maintenance across the resort — guest villas, treatment rooms, kitchen, pool, and public areas — keeping all systems safe, functional, and guest-ready in a beachfront environment with high humidity, salt-air corrosion, and heavy monsoon exposure.
Key Responsibilities
Electrical & Mechanical
- Attend daily maintenance complaints from housekeeping, front office, and kitchen; close work orders within target times
- Maintain and repair electrical fittings, DBs, wiring, water heaters/solar systems, fans, and light fixtures
- Operate and monitor DG sets, pumps, motors, and water treatment/softener plants; maintain log books (fuel, run hours, meter readings)
- Service and troubleshoot air-conditioning units (split/cassette) in coordination with AMC vendors
Plumbing & Civil
- Repair plumbing lines, sanitary fittings, drainage, and rainwater issues; monitor overhead tanks and pipelines
- Carry out minor civil, carpentry, and painting touch-ups; flag larger works for contractor scope
- Pool plant operation support: filtration, dosing, and water-quality checks per schedule
Preventive Maintenance & Safety
- Execute the preventive maintenance calendar for rooms and equipment (monsoon-proofing, anti-corrosion treatment, roof and gutter checks)
- Maintain fire-safety equipment readiness (extinguishers, alarms) and support statutory inspections
- Ensure safe isolation/lock-out practices when working in guest and treatment areas; minimize guest disturbance (noise, timing)
Coordination & Records
- Coordinate with AMC vendors, contractors, and suppliers; verify work completion before sign-off
- Maintain spares inventory, tools register, and breakdown history records
- Report energy and water consumption; suggest conservation measures
Candidate Profile
- ITI/Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- 5–7 years maintenance experience in a hotel, resort, or hospital; resort/beachfront experience an advantage
- Hands-on across electrical, plumbing, and AC basics; able to work independently on night/weekend shifts
- Kerala electrical wireman/supervisor licence an advantage
- Languages: Malayalam essential; functional English/Hindi preferred
- Physically fit, safety-conscious, and courteous around guests
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary commensurate with experience (band as per resort HR policy)

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
