Job Description
We are looking for an experienced, dynamic, and academically strong Principal to lead our CBSE school. The Principal will be responsible for academic leadership, school administration, staff management, student development, parent engagement and ensuring compliance with CBSE and other applicable educational requirements.
Eligibility
- Postgraduate Degree / Master's Degree from a recognized university.
- B.Ed. / equivalent professional teaching qualification – Mandatory.
- Candidates meeting applicable CBSE affiliation norms will be preferred.
- Strong knowledge of CBSE curriculum, academic processes and school administration.
Experience
- Minimum 8–10 years of teaching experience.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a leadership/administrative position such as Vice Principal, Academic Coordinator, Headmistress/Headmaster or Principal.
- Experience in a CBSE school is strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide overall academic and administrative leadership to the school.
- Plan, implement and monitor academic programmes and CBSE curriculum.
- Supervise and evaluate teaching and non-teaching staff.
- Lead recruitment, induction, training and professional development of teachers.
- Monitor lesson planning, classroom teaching, assessments and student performance.
- Ensure discipline, student safety, child protection and a positive school environment.
- Coordinate with parents and address academic and administrative concerns.
- Ensure timely completion of CBSE-related documentation, records and compliance requirements.
- Plan and monitor examinations, activities, events and co-curricular programmes.
- Prepare and review academic and administrative reports for management.
- Manage school resources and coordinate with the management on operational matters.
- Promote innovative teaching practices, technology integration and holistic student development.
- Represent the school professionally before parents, authorities and the wider community.
