- Fabricators read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to plan operations.
- Fabricators mark out lines for cutting, drilling, or shaping metal. They use hand tools and power tools to cut, trim, and fit components.
- Fabricators assemble parts into a structure using welding, bolts, or rivets. They also use grinders and polishers to smooth the surface
- Fabricators inspect and test finished products to ensure they meet specifications. They also repair faulty components.
