Job Purpose
To ensure effective implementation of incoming quality control, supplier quality assurance, and compliance to IATF 16949 and IMS requirements by establishing robust inspection standards, monitoring supplier performance, and driving corrective and preventive actions.
Key Roles & ResponsibilitiesQuality & Inspection
- Develop, implement, and standardize Incoming Part Inspection (IQC) standards and procedures.
- Ensure effective control of Inspection, Measuring, and Testing Equipment, including MSA and calibration compliance.
- Monitor and maintain the IQC quarantine area, ensuring timely segregation, replacement, and disposition of non-conforming materials.
- Review and control daily customer complaints and supplier defects, ensuring root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Supplier Quality Management
- Plan and conduct supplier audits as per the annual audit plan.
- Monitor, evaluate, and maintain supplier performance, scorecards, and grading systems.
- Review and close supplier validation reports and countermeasure reports for non-conforming parts or lots.
- Coordinate with suppliers for implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Documentation & Systems
- Prepare, review, and maintain Work Instructions (WI), FMEA, Control Plans, and MSA documents.
- Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, IMS, and core tools requirements.
- Prepare and present MIS reports for IQC and Customer Support (CS) to management.
- Support internal and external audits and ensure effective audit closure.
Continuous Improvement
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in IQC and supplier quality processes.
- Support cross-functional teams in problem-solving, process improvement, and defect reduction activities.
Skills & Certifications
- IMS Internal Auditor Certification
- IATF 16949 Internal Auditor Certification
- Strong working knowledge of IATF Core Tools: APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC
- Good analytical, communication, and supplier-handling skills
Experience
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in Quality Assurance / Supplier Quality / IQC
- Preferably from Automotive or Home Appliance manufacturing industry
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.)
Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹900,000.00 per year
