Role Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and qualified School Counselor to support the academic, emotional, and social well-being of students. The counselor will work closely with students, teachers, and parents to address personal and academic concerns and promote a positive school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group counseling to students on academic, emotional, and social issues.
- Conduct sessions on stress management, study skills, peer relationships, and mental well-being.
- Offer crisis intervention and support during student emergencies.
- Assess student needs and refer to external professionals when required.
- Collaborate with teachers and parents to support students’ development.
- Maintain confidential counseling records and documentation.
- Conduct awareness sessions or workshops for students, parents, and staff.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
- Relevant certification/licensure as a counselor.
- Prior experience in a school setting preferred.
- Strong communication, empathy, and counseling skills.
- Familiarity with CBSE guidelines is an added advantage.
