About the Role
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer with at least 2 years of professional experience in residential and commercial interior projects. The ideal candidate should be capable of handling projects from concept development to execution while coordinating with clients, consultants, vendors, and site teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop innovative interior design concepts and space planning solutions.
- Prepare presentation drawings, mood boards, and material palettes.
- Create detailed 2D working drawings including:
- Furniture Layout Plans
- Flooring Layout Plans
- Reflected Ceiling Plans
- Electrical & Lighting Layouts
- Wall Elevations & Sections
- Joinery & Furniture Details
- Modular Kitchen & Wardrobe Drawings
- Produce high-quality 3D models and realistic renders.
- Coordinate with clients to understand project requirements and incorporate feedback.
- Conduct site visits for measurements, design supervision, and coordination.
- Prepare BOQs, material specifications, and finish schedules.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and site supervisors to ensure smooth execution.
- Ensure drawings comply with project standards and timelines.
- Monitor project progress and resolve design-related site issues.
- Stay updated with current design trends, materials, and technologies.
Required Skills
- Strong design and space planning skills.
- Excellent knowledge of interior detailing and construction methods.
- Proficiency in:
- AutoCAD
- SketchUp
- V-Ray / Enscape / D5 Render / Lumion
- Adobe Photoshop
- Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of materials, finishes, lighting, and furniture detailing.
- Good communication and client presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving and coordination abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Interior Design or Architecture.
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in residential and commercial interior projects.
- Experience in luxury residential, retail, hospitality, or office interiors will be an added advantage.
