About the Role
We are looking for enthusiastic Full Stack Developer Interns to join our Engineering team and help build the product surface of CognoDB, our cloud-based graph database platform.
You will work on the cloud console, website, onboarding flows, and demo applications while gaining hands-on experience in full-stack development. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy building user-friendly interfaces, working with APIs and databases, and solving real-world engineering problems.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and enhance web applications and console features across UI, APIs, and database integrations.
- Develop clean, responsive, and user-friendly interfaces.
- Implement proper loading, empty, success, and error states.
- Build demo applications and developer-focused examples using CognoDB.
- Work with REST APIs and database integrations.
- Develop data visualization components for graph database interactions.
- Write clean, readable, and maintainable code.
- Fix bugs, troubleshoot issues, and improve application performance.
- Follow accessibility and responsive design best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and collaborate with engineers, product, and design teams.
- Learn and apply modern software development practices.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong foundation in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Basic knowledge of at least one modern framework such as React, Angular, Vue.js, or Next.js.
- Basic understanding of databases, either SQL or NoSQL.
- Familiarity with Git and GitHub.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Good attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and work on unfamiliar problems.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
