Key Responsibilities
- Operate the Simplicity Furnace as per the approved Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).
- Load and unload products carefully to avoid damage.
- Set and monitor furnace parameters, including temperature, heating cycle, soaking time, and cooling cycle.
- Verify furnace program settings before each production batch.
- Record furnace temperature, cycle time, batch details, and production data in the logbook.
- Monitor furnace performance throughout the cycle and report any abnormal conditions immediately.
- Ensure proper identification and traceability of all production batches.
- Inspect finished products for visible defects after the firing cycle.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Maintenance departments for smooth operations.
- Perform routine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance of the furnace and surrounding work area.
- Report equipment faults or breakdowns promptly.
- Ensure optimum fuel/electricity utilization and minimize process losses.
- Follow 5S, safety, and housekeeping standards in the furnace area.
- Use appropriate PPE while handling hot materials and operating the furnace.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity and quality.
Educational Qualification
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Production, or a related technical field.
- Candidates with relevant furnace operation experience may also be considered.
Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
