Job Title: Safety Officer
Department: HSE (Health, Safety & Environment)
Reports To: HSE Manager / Project Manager
Job Summary
Responsible for ensuring a safe working environment by implementing health and safety practices, conducting inspections, promoting safety awareness, and ensuring compliance with company and statutory safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine site safety inspections and identify hazards.
- Ensure compliance with HSE policies and safety regulations.
- Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and awareness programs.
- Monitor the use of PPE and safe work practices.
- Report and investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses.
- Maintain safety records, reports, and documentation.
- Support emergency preparedness and safety audits.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- Certification in NEBOSH, IOSH, or Diploma in Industrial Safety is preferred.
Experience
- 0–2 years of experience in Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) or a related safety role.
Skills
- Basic knowledge of workplace safety and HSE regulations.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Strong observation, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
