Job Summary
We are looking for an Electronics Hardware Design Engineer with experience in low-power IoT device design for industrial applications. The candidate will work on hardware architecture, schematic design, RF systems, and product development for communication-enabled embedded devices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design low-power IoT hardware using technologies like LoRaWAN, NB-IoT, BLE, and low-power WiFi.
- Develop hardware architecture for data acquisition and production-grade products.
- Design analog, discrete, and power electronics circuits.
- Develop schematics and guide PCB layout in coordination with PCB designers using Altium Designer, ensuring RF layout practices, signal integrity, EMI/EMC compliance, and manufacturability.
- Implement RF tuning, antenna matching, and impedance matching.
- Ensure designs meet EMI/EMC requirements.
- Apply Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Testability (DFT).
- Work on low-power optimization and battery-powered systems.
- Perform hardware bring-up, debugging, validation, and testing.
Required Skills
- Embedded hardware design using processors and microcontrollers.
- Experience in designing multi-layer PCB hardware (4–8 layers or more), including stack-up planning, signal integrity, power integrity, and RF layout considerations
- Interfaces: UART, SPI, I2C, SDIO, I2S, USB, Ethernet, CAN.
- Experience integrating LTE/NB-IoT modems, GNSS modules, crypto chips, digital inputs, high-side and low-side outputs.
- Knowledge of analog and discrete circuit design, isolation circuits, and power electronics.
- Experience with RF tuning and antenna matching.
- Familiar with EMI/EMC design practices.
