About the Role
We are looking for an HR Manager with prior experience in the diamond and/or jewellery industry to manage recruitment, employee relations, HR operations, and talent acquisition.
The ideal candidate should understand the hiring requirements and working environment of the diamond and jewellery sector and be capable of independently managing day-to-day HR responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment and selection.
- Source, screen, interview, and onboard candidates.
- Recruit talent for diamond, jewellery, sales, operations, production, accounts, and other business functions.
- Build and maintain a strong candidate pipeline through LinkedIn, job portals, referrals, and industry networks.
- Coordinate interviews and recruitment processes with management.
- Manage employee onboarding, documentation, attendance, leave, and HR records.
- Handle employee queries, grievances, and workplace concerns.
- Maintain confidential employee information and HR documentation.
- Support performance management, employee engagement, and retention.
- Develop and implement HR policies and processes.
- Prepare recruitment and HR-related reports/MIS for management.
- Help build a strong and professional organizational culture.
Industry-Specific Responsibilities
- Understand recruitment requirements specific to the diamond and jewellery industry.
- Maintain connections within the Surat diamond and jewellery talent market.
- Identify and attract experienced candidates from relevant industry organizations.
- Understand industry-specific job roles, skill requirements, and salary expectations.
- Support hiring for both experienced professionals and entry-level industry talent.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of HR experience.
- Prior experience in the diamond, jewellery, gems, or related industry is mandatory.
- Recruitment and talent acquisition experience is strongly preferred.
- Good understanding of the Surat diamond and jewellery industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good interviewing and candidate-evaluation skills.
- Ability to independently handle recruitment and day-to-day HR activities.
- Strong negotiation, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office/Google Workspace and recruitment platforms.

Compensation
Salary: Competitive and based on experience and industry expertise.
