Key Responsibilities
1. Product Data Entry & Catalogue Management
- Prepare and maintain a master product list in Microsoft Excel with columns such as product name, barcode number, category, purchase price, selling price, GST %, unit, and stock quantity.
- Scan and verify barcodes for all products in the store.
- Upload and sync the product catalogue to the billing/inventory software (e.g. Tally Prime, Vyapar, Marg ERP, or similar).
- Regularly update the product list when new items arrive or prices change.
- Ensure zero data errors — cross-check entries with physical stock and invoices.
2. Billing & Point of Sale (POS)
- Generate accurate customer bills using the billing software, applying correct prices, GST, and discounts.
- Issue GST-compliant tax invoices wherever required.
- Handle cash, UPI, and card transactions at the billing counter.
- Manage daily cash register and closing balance reconciliation.
3. Inventory & Stock Management
- Monitor stock levels in the software and flag low-stock items to the manager.
- Assist in periodic physical stock audits and match with software records.
- Record incoming purchase entries (GRN — Goods Receipt Notes) in the system.
- Process sales returns and update inventory accordingly.
4. Reports & MIS
- Generate daily sales reports, stock reports, and GST summary reports from the software.
- Prepare and share weekly/monthly Excel MIS reports for the owner/manager.
- Maintain purchase and sales registers as required.
5. General Store Operations Support
- Coordinate with vendors for invoices and delivery challans.
- Maintain filing of physical purchase bills and delivery records.
- Support store staff for any system-related queries.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 12th pass; Graduate preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel data entry, basic formulas (VLOOKUP, SUM, filters), and formatting.
- Experience with any retail billing software (Tally, Vyapar, Marg ERP, QuickBooks, or similar).
- Good typing speed and accuracy.
- Basic understanding of GST, invoicing, and retail billing.
- Honest, punctual, and trustworthy will handle cash and sensitive pricing data.
- Good communication skills in Hindi and basic English.
Preferred (Good to Have)
- Prior experience working in a retail shop, supermarket, or medical store.
- Familiarity with barcode scanners and POS hardware.
Pay: ₹9,000.00 - ₹13,000.00 per month
