Role Description The Dyeing Merchandiser is a full-time, on-site role located in Ludhiana, responsible for coordinating dyeing orders from planning through delivery. Day-to-day tasks include communicating with customers to understand fabric and color requirements, preparing and following up on dyeing work orders, and liaising with production, quality, and logistics teams to ensure timelines and specifications are met. The role involves monitoring dyeing processes, tracking order status, resolving issues related to quality or delays, and maintaining accurate records of samples, approvals, and production runs. The Dyeing Merchandiser also supports pricing discussions, assists in basic sales and marketing activities related to dyed fabrics, and contributes to improving customer service and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to coordinate effectively with customers, production teams, and management.
- Customer service capabilities to manage inquiries, clarify requirements, handle complaints professionally, and support long-term relationships.
- Sales and marketing awareness to assist in presenting dyed fabric options, negotiating order details, and supporting business growth initiatives.
- Retail and textile industry exposure, especially in fabric types, dyeing processes, and quality standards, will be beneficial.
- Attention to detail, good organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple orders and deadlines simultaneously.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., spreadsheets, email, order tracking systems) for documentation and reporting.
- Prior experience as a merchandiser or in dyeing / textile production is preferred; relevant vocational or technical training in textiles is an advantage.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
