A Finance Manager oversees an organization’s financial health, guiding strategic growth, managing cash flow, and ensuring strict legal compliance. They act as a critical bridge between day-to-day accounting and executive leadership, shaping profitable business strategies and driving long-term financial stability.
Core Responsibilities
- Financial Planning & Forecasting: Develop annual budgets, create economic models, and forecast future revenue and cash needs.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements, balance sheets, and management accounts.
- Cash Flow Management: Oversee working capital, manage investments, and ensure the company can meet its financial obligations.
- Risk Management & Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with local, state, and federal financial regulations and tax laws.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and mentor the internal finance and accounting team.
Key Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration. A Master’s degree is often preferred for upper-level roles.
- Certifications: Professional designations like CPA (Certified Public Accountant), CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst), or ACCA are highly sought after.
- Experience: Typically requires 5+ years of progressive experience in corporate finance, financial analysis, or auditing.
- Skills: Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), data analysis, and cross-departmental communication.
Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,600,000.00 per year
